everythingdolls: everythingdolls: Beautiful Women in Costume Eva Green, seen here as Sibylla of Jerusalem in Kingdom of Heaven, is this week’s entry.  Ms. Green’s costumes in the film are just stunning - I wish females in the Holy Land at the time actually dressed like this, just so I’d have a chance to wear them for re-creation. It’s possible that someone of Byzantine descent or from that empire (or who had traveled there extensively) would dress like this. Veils and heavy body coverings came from the Byzantines and they dressed like this long before “saracens” ever would have!
